After successfully selling a property for a particular vendor within one week in 2012, Hans was the first agent to call when her parents wanted to put their own home on the market. Hans’ new vendors were an elderly couple, who were apprehensive about the enormity of selling and moving. Before the marketing campaign commenced, Hans had already arranged the purchase of a new home for the couple, so that they could make the transition with ease.
At 9am the property went live on the internet. Just three hours later, Hans received a call requesting an inspection later that day and that evening, a generous offer to secure the property was made. The vendors were awestruck with the accelerated velocity of the offer and saw this as an opportunity to negotiate the price. After the purchasers agreed to increase their offer, contracts were signed and the deposit paid.
Hans and his vendors achieved great success from taking an advanced and proactive approach to selling a beloved family home. The vendors were able to save in excess of $3,000 in advertising and auction costs, not to mention the associated stress of preparing the house for multiple inspections, every week of the campaign.
Hans described the sale as “the most rewarding and satisfying sale I have made throughout my entire career”. Selling a property can be a very demanding and nerve-racking experience and it is much more gratifying when you can make the process as straightforward and efficient as possible.
A big believer in not only meeting, but exceeding the expectations of his clients, Hans consistently strives to deliver win-win situations. It could come down to luck but as Hans says, the harder you work, the luckier you are.
