Fletchers agent, Sally Garden has relocated from one of Fletchers’ Melbourne offices where she worked for several years to join the team on the Bellarine Peninsula. In doing so, she has secured the best of both worlds, a continuing career in a job she loves and an enviable lifestyle change.

Sally has quickly established herself as an agent whose results speak for themselves. “For me it’s not at all about hype and showmanship,” she told Property News. “I strongly believe in professionalism and offering outstanding client service. Consultants need to listen to clients’ needs and wishes and give the best professional advice for their situation and guide them through the buying and selling process”.

Life experience is one of Sally’s strongest assets. After careers in highend retailing - she was a buyer at Georges in Collins Street for several years after leaving University - and a subsequent career in corporate finance, she decided to embark on a career in real estate.
Her decision was prompted by a desire “to run my own show, be my own boss”, she said coupled with a genuine appreciation of property, architecture and design.

Her ability to empathise with her clients and willingness to always go that extra mile have served her well and bought her many satisfied clients and business referrals. “Buying and selling real estate is a huge undertaking for the vast majority of people,” Sally said.
“It’s something most people do only a limited number of times – there’s not much opportunity to practise! But dealing in real estate should and can be an exciting time for clients, albeit the inconsiderable amounts of money and emotion involved!
“For me, the client is entitled to be dealing with an agent in whom they have the utmost confidence with an expectation they will secure them the strongest result,” she said.
