Built in the 1960s and completely transformed a decade later by the renowned mid-century architect Kevin Borland, this 4 bedroom brick home is an obvious departure from the North Balwyn norm of its time.
Even today, its distinct architectural character still evokes a sense of a less structured and more peaceful Eltham lifestyle.
Set amongst native gardens, majestic eucalypts and expanses of brick paving, the living areas enjoy a northern orientation opening to the pool and outdoor entertaining space. The interior design highlights the use of timber, with lined cathedral ceilings, wall panelling, timber kitchen and built in furniture radiating welcoming warmth throughout.

After the heat, wind, cloud and rain experienced last weekend, it cannot be disputed that Melbourne does, in fact, have four seasons in one day!
While it was still warm on Saturday, Tim Heavyside conducted an auction at 10 Neville Street, Ringwood, which was ‘hotly’ contested by three bidders. The property went on to sell over reserve, for $625,000. A great result!
Blackburn expert and all-around nice guy, Graeme Keogh conducted a successful campaign and auction at 51 Alandale Street, Blackburn which sold for $600,000. His vendors were very impressed with Graeme’s ‘intelligence and sales skill’ throughout the entire transaction.
Our fundraising for FebFast has started off well and we have nearly reached the halfway mark of our $1,000 target! Our CEO’s bubbly PA, Nina Pettolino is putting us all to shame with the amount of donations she has raised!
Don’t forget you can donate to FebFast here: http://www.febfastfundraising.com.au/the_fletchers_group
